J.H. WHEELER
ROSÉ
NAPA VALLEY
2021

Tasting Notes

This beguiling Rosé of Cabernet Franc has a subtle peach color as if kissed by the soft, orange light of the setting sun. The bouquet is vibrant with accents of spring blossoms and fennel pollen layered over ripe stone fruit and fresh golden raspberries. On the palate, the 2021 vintage is racy and refreshing with a softer, slightly creamy touch on the finish. Complexities of the Cabernet Franc varietal come through with the ample fruit characteristics, making this Rosé a brilliant companion to outdoor revelry of any kind.

Tasting Notes

This wine is crafted to celebrate the diverse richness that is the Napa Valley and our commitment to uphold our common cause of inspiring the senses. Deep in color with a core of ruby giving way to purple hues, this Cabernet Sauvignon is intensely fresh on the nose. Notes of dark fruit and graphite are lifted by the sweeter scents of toasted spice and fennel blossoms. The freshness of this wine caries forward on the palate with bright acidity that is carefully balanced with textured tannins and rounded mouthfeel. This 2019 Napa Valley truly captures the spirit and beauty of this special place.
